The United States Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California is once again hiring and looking to recruit talented lawyers of diverse backgrounds to represent the United States as Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSAs). 

AUSAs represent the United States in both civil and criminal matters in the federal district court, as well as in the tax and bankruptcy courts.  This Office has a long tradition of vindicating the rights of victims and the public generally, having prosecuted high-profile cases against corrupt elected officials, police officers and others who violate civil rights laws, fraudsters who fleece vulnerable populations and the government, child predators, human and drug traffickers, violent gang organizations, and individuals and organizations who target our national security.  We also proudly protect the public in suits against the United States.  To do this important work we seek exceptional lawyers of all backgrounds with a deep commitment to public service.  It is important that our AUSAs reflect the tremendous diversity and richness of our district.  Please see the below link for more details.
