Commercial & Business Litigation Associate (Los Angeles):

Michelman & Robinson, LLP is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial & Business Litigation Associate to join our esteemed Los Angeles office. As a Commercial & Business Litigation Associate at M&R, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging and complex legal matters, while contributing to a vibrant and inclusive work environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients on a wide range of commercial and business litigation matters, including but not limited to contract disputes, false advertising claims, insurance litigation, partnership disputes, products liability, securities & commodities enforcement, shareholder litigation, trade secret & misappropriation litigation, and unfair competition claims.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and advise clients on potential risks and litigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including attorneys, paralegals, and support staff, to develop innovative and effective legal solutions for complex business disputes.
  • Represent clients in litigation proceedings, negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and other dispute resolution methods.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in commercial and business laws and regulations, and proactively advise clients on compliance matters.

 

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a top accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar or eligibility for reciprocity.
  • 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in commercial and business litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local business and litigation laws.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Salary and Benefits:

M&R offers a competitive salary range of $225,000 to $240,000, commensurate with experience, for the position of Commercial & Business Litigation Associate. In addition to the base salary, generous bonuses are provided based on individual and firm performance.
